Genesis 1:29 specifically states this: "Then God said, 'I give you EVERY seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and EVERY tree that has “fruit” with the “SEED” in it—They will be yours for food.'" This verse not only shows God's provision of plants and fruits for human sustenance and nourishment, but it also tells us WHAT is good. It states, “every TREE with the seed in it. “.
Genetic Modified Organisms for Food (GMO)
GMO stands for genetically modified organism. Thus, Seedless fruits typically come from plants that have been selectively bred or genetically modified to produce fruits without viable seeds. This is achieved through various methods, including cross-pollination, hybridization, or genetic manipulation.
Scientists use “genetic engineering” to introduce specific traits into plants, including the suppression of seed development.
While, the safety of GMOs (genetically modified organisms) has been extensively studied and evaluated by scientific organizations and regulatory agencies around the world. The consensus among these organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Academy of Sciences, and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), is that GMOs currently on the market are safe to eat and do not pose any greater risk to human health than conventionally bred crops. And, that there is no scientific evidence to support the claim that GMOs can directly cause diseases in humans. However, the safety of GMOs is an ongoing topic of research and scrutiny, and new studies are continually conducted to assess their long-term effects. If you have specific concerns about GMOs or their potential impact on health, it is recommended to regulatory agencies for accurate and up-to-date information.
God said that HE gave us EVERY “ Seed Bearing Plant” for food.
Seed bearing plants produce provide food for humanity in several ways:
1. Fruits and Vegetables: Many plants produce fruits and vegetables that are rich in essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. These include fruits like apples, oranges, and bananas, as well as vegetables like spinach, carrots, and broccoli.
2. Grains: Plants such as wheat, rice, corn, and barley are cultivated for their grains, which are used to make various staple foods like bread, pasta, and cereals. These grains are a significant source of carbohydrates and provide energy.
3. Legumes: Plants like beans, lentils, and chickpeas are legumes that are high in protein, fiber, and other essential nutrients. They are a valuable source of plant-based protein for many people around the world. By
4. Nuts and Seeds: Plants like almonds, walnuts, and sunflower seeds provide healthy fats, protein, and other nutrients. They are often consumed as snacks or used in cooking and baking.
5. Oils: Certain plants, such as olives, soybeans, and coconuts, are used to extract oils that are used for cooking, flavoring, and as ingredients in various food products.
6. Herbs and Spices: Plants like basil, cilantro, cinnamon, and turmeric are used as herbs and spices to enhance the flavor of food and provide additional health benefits. Are there not enough trees? Why did man feel the need to create genetic modified foods Could this be the reason for all these sicknesses? You be the judge
Overall, plants play a crucial role in providing a diverse range of nutritious foods that are essential for human health and well-being.
